On 18 April 2024, at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Elena Kantareva-Decheva, Director of the OI “Ancient Plovdiv and in the presence of Ms. Savina Petkova – Deputy Mayor of Plovdiv Municipality, the Chairperson of the National Commission of the Republic of Bulgaria for UNESCO – Ms. Zornitsa Grekova, Deputy Mr. Stefan Posliyski, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Plovdiv, Mr. Georgi Stamenov, Mayor of the Centralny District, Ms. Rumyana Tolova, Deputy Mayor of the Centralny District, District Mayors, Ms. Nancy Schiller, President of the America for Bulgaria Foundation, and Mr. Jeffrey Weinschenker, Representative of the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria, the Academic Folk Choir® – Plovdiv with conductor prof. Kostadin Buradzhiev presented our intangible cultural heritage translated into the beauty of music with works included in the choir’s recent tour to France.
